Our mission statement is “achieving excellence through innovation” and using our extensive expertise to design market leading solutions for the veterinary and animal market. 

StrideZ is led by Dr Nick Allen. Nick has nearly 20 years’ experience working in elite sports medicine. He holds post-graduate degrees in Sports Medicine and Epidemiology. He is an honorary lecturer in sports medicine as well as a regular speaker at national and international conferences in sports medicine. He has published various research studies and is currently commissioned to write a specialist textbook in sports medicine. In his time he has been privileged to have worked with British, European, World, Commonwealth and Olympic champions. He has seen first-hand how innovation can assist in achieving outcomes, be that gold medals, efficient recovery from injury, or overcoming complex injuries.

Sally Cowan is the head design consultant. She works as part of the UK Sport’s Innovation and Performance Medicine team and is recognised as one of the leading designers in performance garments in the world. She has worked with multiple world class athletes including Sir Bradley Wiggins, Chris Froome and Victoria Pendleton among many other Olympic gold medallists. Sally’s client list includes SKY Cycling, British Cycling, Ferrari, England Rugby, UK Athletics and Great Britain Hockey to name a few.

StrideZ aims to be a pioneer of cross fertilization between human and veterinary medicine. Combining experience in elite sport medicine, innovation, research and veterinary medicine. We work closely with veterinary practitioners and animal owners to design new products to create positive and effective change and ultimately enhance the health, performance and well-being of animals.
